Each parent who verifies a tutor's credentials — on-site or online — adds to a running count shown on the profile. To keep that count meaningful, each parent can only verify a given certificate once a year.

How to Get Verified — Step by Step

Step 1 — Opt in to Verify-My-Cert

Log into your GuruExplorer dashboard and enable the Verify-My-Cert feature. This signals to the platform — and to parents browsing your profile — that you are willing to show your qualifications in person. The feature activates immediately.

Step 2 — Bring your physical certificates to the trial lesson

Before the trial lesson, gather the original certificates and qualifications you want to show the parent. These can include:
